Your First Week Checklist

Log into Your Student Portal

Go to ne.college and click 'Student Portal' in the Quick Links menu. Enter your email and click the magic link sent to your inbox. No password needed!

Select Your Emphasis

Once inside the portal, you'll be prompted to choose your academic emphasis (e.g., Business, Communication, Computer Science). This tailors your course catalog.

Enroll in Your First Courses

Browse the course catalog tab and click 'Enroll' on any course. You can take multiple courses per term. Each course is 8 weeks long.

Read the Student Handbook

Visit the Student Handbook page for important policies, your FERPA rights, grading scale, and academic expectations.

Explore the Resource Library

The Resource Library has AI tutors for every subject, free textbooks and learning materials, and a citation generator for your assignments.
